A beautiful wedding at South Lodge Hotel in Horsham West Sussex had a huge tower of fondant topped cupcakes, a top cake for cutting and some gorgeous mini cakes.
The stunning display was in a theme of pink, white and all things daisies.
The weather was beautiful (if not a bit nippy) and the stunning Gardens of South Lodge Hotel in Lower Beeding near Horsham looked over the West Sussex countryside. An absolutely beautiful wedding venue.
Preparations had begun on the cake designs back in October 2012 and the wedding date seemed to be suddenly upon us.
Delicious fresh local ingredients were delivered, collected and ordered in and the fun began!
With over 1200 hand sugar crafted daisies to be made, timings were of utmost importance!
All the cakes were a delicious vanilla sponge topped with a light fluffy buttercream and then fondant topped in pink and white with a variety of daisy designs and hand tied mini ribbons as chosen by the beautiful bride Emma.
As we arrived to set up at South Lodge there was also a Ferrari meeting in the car park which looked fantastic as they all set about driving around Horsham which is an annual event.
The room for the wedding was stunning and we were all in there doing ‘our thing’!
Champagne, flowers, place settings, crisp linens and the cake table all came together.
The table decorations were stunning and had beautiful green apples in the waterfilled vases with the flowers towering out the top and they looked amazing.
I have added a few pictures but am waiting for Woodland Hill Photography to release the pictures that were taken once the Bride and Groom have of course seen them.
It was an amazing special day for a truly fabulous couple Emma and Andy and I can’t wait to catch up with them and see all the pictures of the day and of course over a cup of tea and a cake!.
